I recently finished a music workshop series with Daniel Lopatin. Calm down – It was on the computer.
Daniel used the tarot card, The Fool, as a tool for free creativity. I won’t get too far into that. At the same time I was reading Blood Meridian, which has not only fools but also idiots and imbeciles.
In the end everyone is elevated or diminished to the level of fool for the Colnel Kurtz-esque Judge’s dance.
