• Over the holidays I was forced to watch the show Black Rabbit, which I do not recommend. I features Jude Law doing a horrible American accent and Jason Bateman, the straight man from Arrested Development. Jude Law plays a lovable scamp from Coney Island. There are several musical montages with scenes that are very close to the piece of shit and the sloppy steaks crew from I Think You Should Leave Now.

Honorable Mention: Playing one of the terrible later work Beastie Boys songs.

  • Star Trek The Next Generation

In 2026 I will rewatch the prominent leftist Star Trek The Next Generation television show.

¿How did you consume the show originally?
I remember it was on one of the few TV channels we had in England and it was current. I didn’t have strong feelings about it at the time, but I did watch it while doing other things, which is more than I can say of most TV.

Update: It was definitely on after Yo MTV Raps.

  • Coming in under $20 for these vintage sweaters on eBay makes you question the quality but still.

  • From Wikipedia: The small island is located in the Columbia River, near Mosier. It is mostly barren, but features several large pine trees and willows, a basalt cliff, wildflowers, wild cherry trees, blackberry thickets, and a sandy beach. It is closer to the Oregon side of the river, and only a few hundred feet from its shoreline.

The island’s only structure is a private residence, a three-story wood-frame house built in 1969. A line from the mainland supplies electricity to the island; drinking water is filtered from the Columbia. The island can only be accessed by boat.

  • I recently finished a music workshop series with Daniel Lopatin. Calm down – It was on the computer.
Daniel used the tarot card, The Fool, as a tool for free creativity. I won’t get too far into that. At the same time I was reading Blood Meridian, which has not only fools but also idiots and imbeciles.
In the end everyone is elevated or diminished to the level of fool for the Colnel Kurtz-esque Judge’s dance.

  • How do I get a speaker like this?
Do I have to make it? Checking reddit…
    People don’t dance no mo’
    All they do is this
    All they do is this
    All they do is this
    That is fine with me.

Everything now is a “listening experience”. In a big space with uncomfortable sort of pillow seating.
Recently there was a Super Ape listening thing.
Recently there was a David Bowie Low listening thing.
I would like to do this at home with perhaps only Jazz and Dub records.
I used to have records. Now I have no records.
